Patricia Kariuki Henry is a dedicated expert in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics, with a strong focus on Food Security Systems and Nutrition Information Packaging and Research. She has extensive experience working with non-governmental organizations and the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Kenya, particularly in managing malnutrition among pregnant and lactating women and children under five in Arid and Semi-Arid Areas (ASAL). Her expertise extends to monitoring and evaluating community-based health and nutrition programs, as well as collecting, entering, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.  

Patricia is also an experienced educator, having taught Research Methods, Community Health, and Nutrition, along with other nutrition and health-related courses in various public and private universities across Kenya. Her diverse background in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics makes her a valuable contributor to the field. ​In addition to her professional work, Patricia Henry hosts the "Food Security Systems Podcast" on Spotify.

Since 2017, she has focused on studying Kenyan food security systems, with a particular emphasis on their impact on nutrient bioavailability. Her work extends to exploring various aspects of agri-production, including greenhouse farming, farm produce management, distribution, and retail. Patricia is a highly self-driven individual who collaborates effectively with partners in the fields of Food Security Systems, Nutrition (especially in relation to physiology and pathophysiology), and with policymakers.

She is also an accomplished author, having published two books: “Why Should I Marry? I Am Happy Single” and “It’s OK to Be Angry at God.” Patricia enjoys singing, having produced a song titled “Ni Yesu Pekee,” available on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram as a music reel, with the full video accessible on Patricia Henry TV. Additionally, she plays the piano, dances, and is passionate about travel and cultural interactions. Patricia is committed to empowering small-scale farmers and promoting the “Farm to Table” business model.
